hey miss intensity, i'm really enjoying your vlog posts.

i wish i had an answer why athletic shoes are so ugly, and more importantly, suggestions for attractive ones. unfortunately, i only wear chuck taylors, star players and vans slip ons all in black-on-black. obviously that's not an answer to your question either, but that's what i do, i ramble.

I love the day-off hair cut. I'm thinking of copying. I hear you about the shoes. I walk four blocks in my ugly white runners to the gym and inevitably run into a hundred people i know. Sad. But my cute shoes remind me that I am no longer a spritely 21 year old who can run in cutesy bright blue Get Outside-esque footwear. Ah, let me know if you find anything.

Miss I, I think you're my new favorite vlogger. Hooray!

One, being friendly isn't all bad. I was a waitress for years, and sure, it rubs off, but I'm also from the Midwest in the US, which means I have things like "hospitality" built in. But, the way I see it, especially if you're doing research in grad school like I am, being friendly helps you get with people who might otherwise not help you out/be your friend/etc. In addition to being nice, it works to your academic/career benefit, and that's always great.

Sneakers...can you get the tiny, non-sneaker types that are more trendy than anything but go well with skirts? I mean, they do look athletic, but you'd hardly play soccer in them. Do you know which ones I mean? Those may work, depending on what your feet need. Email me if you're unsure and I'll try to find some pics.
